The Department of Psychology at Western Washington University is seeking candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Cognitive Development to begin September 16, 2018.
The candidate should have a PhD or ABD in Developmental Psychology, with an expertise in Cognitive Development. We have a preference for candidates with an expertise in cultural contexts of development. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a range of courses in undergraduate research methods and statistics and developmental psychology, as well as graduate courses in development. A Ph.D. or ABD, evidence of an active research program, a demonstrated ability to involve students in research, a commitment to teaching excellence, a publication record commensurate with experience, and commitment to working effectively with diverse students and faculty are required. Salary is competitive and dependent upon qualification.
