Ventura County Office of Education, located in Southern California, is seeking an audiologist to join the Hearing Conservation & Audiology Services team. Under the supervision of the Director, the audiologist supports the identification, intervention, and education of children with hearing loss. The audiologist conducts audiological evaluations with infants, toddlers, and school-aged children; assesses and consults regarding auditory functioning and hearing technology (hearing aids, cochlear implants and hearing assistive technology) as applicable to the educational setting; educates and guides parents to intervention and educational resources; and collaborates and communicates with education and community professionals working with deaf and hard of hearing students in the county. Opportunity for both clinic and school based services. Actual responsibilities may be defined according to the range of knowledge and skills and departmental needs.
Must possess or be eligible for a valid California State license in Audiology, a valid Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Audiology, and a valid California driver's license.

Salary based on a school year of 180 days
The Ventura County Office of Education Hearing Conservation and Audiology Services supports schools and the Ventura County community in the provision of comprehensive Hearing Screening, in-depth hearing evaluation, and collaborative special education services for deaf and hard of hearing students to minimize the educational impact of hearing loss.
