Counseling Center of the North Shore (CCNS), a private not for profit community agency, invites applications for the position of Full-Time Clinical Director. Founded over 120 years ago, CCNS, provides individual, couple and family counseling and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and seniors as well as educational programs to community members.
Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the agency’s Management Team, the Clinical Director assumes primary responsibility for: 1) ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the agency’s clinical and employee assistance services through the regular supervision of clinical staff as well as through the monitoring and evaluation of services delivery; and 2) maintaining a clinical case load; and 3) in close collaboration with the Executive Director increasing visibility and utilization of clinical services.
In addition, the Clinical Director will supervise and annually evaluate clinical staff; plan and develop community education programs; network and coordinate services with other agencies, organizations, schools and community groups; oversee administrative and clinical paperwork of staff; and in concurrence with the Executive Director, hire clinical staff.
