McDowell Center for Children is seeking a dynamic and talented Activity Director. McDowell is a Residential Treatment Center for teenage boys who could be experiencing mental health, behavioral and/or substance abuse issues.The Activity Director is responsible for assessing and coordinating resident leisure and recreational activities, providing age appropriate groups and establishing behavioral treatment goals for the residents. Design & implement activities and programs within the guidelines of the facility. Activities include, but aren't limited to basketball, games, trips to local centers and areas of interest.The qualified applicant must be able to work Monday - Friday 12 pm - 8 pm and every other Saturday.
