JOB SUMMARY: The Program Specialist provides direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and activities of daily living. The Program Specialist is additionally responsible for the implantation of programs, training and the schedulefor ourLGBTQ adolescent population.

Staff must have experience with behavioral management techniques, be well versed in evidenced-based clinical approaches, have knowledge of psychiatric disorders and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced interdisciplinary team approach environment. Staff should also have experience working with LGBTQ youth, their families and communities.
