We continue to grow and expand our services to meet the demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds, and currently are currently seeking Mobile Crisis Counselors. Position Responsibilities The Mobile Assessment Team provides on-call services for on-site behavioral health assessments in local hospital emergency departments in the Sandhills area. Staff provide services on an on-call / as-needed basis during after-hours periods only. After-hours coverage includes Mondays - Thursdays from 5 pm until 8 am and weekends from 5 pm Friday to 8am Monday. Responsibilities include assessments, referrals to inpatient or outpatient resources as needed, and at times facilitating involuntary commitments when needed (all done from the ED). All tasks / responsibilities are performed in the ED (no community on-site work). Staff schedule assignments are made prior to the beginning of each month to ensure full coverage. Current needs are 1-2 nights each week and an occasional weekend as needed; however flexibility is a very important factor when considering individuals for the position. The position requires a Masters' Degree with Provisional or full licensure or Certification as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PA, or CSAC.
