Texas NeuroRehab Center (TNC) provides complex medical and brain injury rehab, chemical dependency treatment for adults and neuropsychiatric treatment for youth. The capabilities of the facility as a whole allow for integrated and specialized care for children, adolescents and adults facing difficult challenges.
Texas NeuroRehab Center is currently accepting applications for a Registered Nurse (RN). RNs provide direct patient care and medical management and assessment of the patients. A Registered Nurse ensures environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population, and directs the implementation of behavior management program to ensure consistent carry-through.
The candidate selected will be responsible for the following: Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team. Provide medical management and assessment of patients. Ensure environmental safety and crisis management for the patient population. Direct the implementation of behavior management programs and ensure consistent carry-through. Make patient and task assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance of duties. Provide training and education to staff, patients, families, and others. Document patient care, ensure that data is accurate, and that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates. Work with the treatment team to provide a consistently therapeutic milieu.
