The Outpatient Therapist for the Adolescent IOP program is responsible for providing counseling services to patients in outpatient programming. The Outpatient Therapist will provide group counseling to adolescents in the Adolescent IOP program using clinically appropriate modalities such as cognitive behavioral and solution-focused therapy.Â The Therapist will provide psycho education group experiences to the adolescents including coping skills, goal setting, healthy leisure activities, etc.. The Therapist will be responsible for completing intake assessments, must have the ability to develop therapeutic relationships with patients and families, and provide appropriate crisis intervention as necessary by anticipating and responding quickly to escalating behaviors. The Outpatient Therapist should be familiar with and demonstrate consistent compliance with CMS and JCAHO requirements for clinical documentation.
