We continue to grow and expand our services to meet the demands of the community for inpatient psychiatric beds, and currently have immediate need for a FT Recreational Therapist at our Children's Hospital.
Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, this position is responsible for performing recreation therapy assessments and groups within the specifications of treatment plans and program guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform recreation therapy assessments within procedural timelines.
Provide crisis intervention, behavior management, and behavior modification as needed and specified in the individual treatment plan & unit program guidelines.
Organizes and conducts patient recreation therapy groups daily.
Documents group participation, according to documentation requirements. Â Reviews data with treatment team members, as needed.
