Havenwyck HospitalÂ is a 243 bed, Joint Commission accredited and licensed psychiatric and substance abuse facility. WeÂ specializing in providing behavioral health and substance abuse treatment and are located in Auburn Hills overlooking Lake Galloway.Â
Havenwyck HospitalÂ provides a continuum of individualized treatment to children, adolescents and adults needing psychiatric and/or substance abuse treatment.Â Havenwyck strives to create a customized treatment plan for each individual based on level of maturity, life experiences, needs and other factors. Patients at Havenwyck are treated by a qualified multi-disciplinary team, including, but not limited to, a psychiatrist, registered nurses, social workers and recreational therapists, in a warm, supportive environment. Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented licensed Director of Clinical Services for Child/AdolescentÂ to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Coordinates Social Work role with the Director of Nursing and the Nurse Manager to facilitate the therapeutic milieu.
Receives notification of admission of patients and referrals for social work intervention.
Performs social work interventions as needed including psychosocial assessment, discharge planning, and acting as a liaison for hospitalized patients to various community agencies and resources.
Attends treatment team conferences, milieu meetings, and unit meetings.Â
Conducts department meetings on a regularly scheduled basis.Â
Provides supervision and evaluation to the social work team.Â
Coordinates daily clinical duties and schedules of unit social workers, flexes staffing as needed.Â
Coordinates Performance Improvement activities for patient treatment program. Responsible for the timely completion and compilation of all Social Work Performance Improvement Monitors and Performance Improvement quarterly reports.Â
Works a personal schedule tailored to the needs and objectives of the department and organization.Â
