Havenwyck HospitalÂ is a 243 bed, Joint Commission accredited and licensed psychiatric and substance abuse facility. WeÂ specializing in providing behavioral health and substance abuse treatment and are located in Auburn Hills overlooking Lake Galloway.Â
Havenwyck HospitalÂ provides a continuum of individualized treatment to children, adolescents and adults needing psychiatric and/or substance abuse treatment.Â Havenwyck strives to create a customized treatment plan for each individual based on level of maturity, life experiences, needs and other factors. Patients at Havenwyck are treated by a qualified multi-disciplinary team, including, but not limited to, a psychiatrist, registered nurses, social workers and recreational therapists, in a warm, supportive environment. Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented licensed Clinical Social WorkerÂ to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Participates as an integral professional member of a multidisciplinary treatment team led by a psychiatrist.
Facilitates the therapeutic milieu on the treatment unit.
Receives notification of admission of patients and referrals for social work intervention.
Performs social work interventions as directed by the treatment team, the treating psychiatrist and/or the Director of PHP.
Obtains and assesses social history information and reports to the treatment teams.
Performs discharge planning as directed by the psychiatrist from the day of admission.
Provides daily group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, substance abuse group/didactic, and/or couples therapy as deemed appropriate by the treatment team, the treating psychiatrist and the Director of PHP.
Works a schedule tailored to needs of unit/program.
Assists in either inpatient or partial program as needed and as census fluctuates.
A $4,000.00 sign on bonus available for qualified newly hired candidates. A 24 month commitment is required.
