McDowell Center for Children is seeking a Master's level Therapist for our Residential Treatment Center for teenage boys.Â
The therapist is responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy sessions.Â The therapist will also participate in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/ case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services for referral sources and other departments within the facility.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:Â Complete initial social work notes,Â family contact notes within the time frame required after admission.Â Develops realistic and measurable short and long term goals and desired outcomes.Â Documents all required notes in each residents files in a timely manner. Â
