This position is accountable for performing a variety of sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders, as directed by a physician. The incumbent functions as a member of the patient care team scoring, recording and documenting data associated with the monitoring of physiologic data associated with patients during sleep.
REQUIREMENTS: Must have a High School Diploma or G.E.D. BLS - Basic Life Support and RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Tech) is required. Must have a minimum of two years experience in a health care environment and knowledge of scoring sleep studies and providing diagnostic reports for physician review is required. Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to score studies. Bilingual skill are preferred.
