Excellent opportunity for an experienced Neurotechnologist to join one of the nation's largest pediatric hospitals and the second largest pediatric hospital in California. Valley Children's Hospital is located just five minutes north of Fresno, CA in affordable Central California. This position is accountable for applying advanced clinical skills in the performance of neurodiagnostic examinations including electroencephalograms (ie. routine EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, video EEGs, and ECS studies), evoked potentials (i.e. BAERs, VERs, ERGs, and SSEPs), and special procedures on inpatient and outpatients. Calibrate, troubleshoots, and/or facilitates repairs and malfunctions of equipment. The position is responsible for actively participating in special projects.
High School Diploma/G.E.D. required. College Degree - 2 year Health Sciences preferred. ABRET - Am Board Electro-Encephalograph certification with a minimum of one certification in the field of Electroneurodiagnostics including but not limited to Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R. EEG T.) or Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T.) required. Minimum one (1) year Pediatric neurodiagnostics with emphasis on premature, neonatal and pediatric recording techniques required. Bilingual Skills preferred.
