Job Summary The supervisor is held responsible for the proper performance of all laboratory procedures within his/her section and supervises technologists, technicians and other related personnel, schedules work duties and supervises performance of such duties. Job Responsibilities Responsibility/Standard Supervises and directs all technical and non-technical personnel.
Schedule work duties
Responsible for all technical work performed
Assures that licensing and accreditation requirements are in full compliance
Assists in planning and monitoring operating and capital budgets
Inter/Intra-Departmental Committees

Job Responsibilities (Continued) Required Licenses, Certifications, Registrations None Required Education and Experience BS in biology, chemistry or other related field or equivalent experience, with MT ASCP, NCA or other related certification or eligible.
Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic Supervisory experience preferred. Five years of practical laboratory experience including instrumentation preferred. Additional Technical Requirements
