We are currently searching for a licensed mental health provider experienced in working with children, adults, couples and families.  Applicant must possess a current, active Virginia license as a Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker or Psychologist.  Some licensed experience is preferred, for insurance credentialing.  Southside Counseling Center serves a wide geographical area and a diverse population.  All licensed therapists at this practice work as independent contractors, not as employees; therefore, they do not report to a superior about work product, nor does the practice provide health insurance.  There is flexibility available in respect to hours worked and client populations served.  For an overview of the practice, please visit www.southsidecounseling.net.  

COVID-19 considerations:  In addition to in-office sessions, we utilize the telehealth platform, Simple Practice, so that clients can be seen remotely, as appropriate.  Our office follows all CDC and VA Commonwealth COVID-19 regulations and guidelines.
