Clinical Research Coordinator III-Orthopaedic Surgery

Description JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time position in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. A coordinator with at least 5 years of clinical research is needed on the team to support several randomized clinical trials and prospective studies, including a spine registry, funded by the Department of Defense (DoD), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and several foundations. The coordinator will provide oversight and management for these studies and the spine registry as well as being involved with recruitment and follow-up of study subjects. Responsibilities will include hiring and management of several research assistants, coordinators, and students; oversight of institutional review board (IRB) process; maintaining and updating study protocols; recruitment and follow-up of study patients; ongoing communication with the PI and collaborators; and leading weekly research team meetings along with the PI DEPARTMENT SUMMARY: Vanderbilt Orthopaedics is Tennessee's leading provider of orthopaedic care.
