Christiana Care, Primary Care at Concord is looking for an Outpatient Medical Assistant .
The Concord practice is located in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. Concord offers a range of services, that includes well child checks, physical examinations, women's health, immunizations, and minor outpatient surgical procedures and much more. The office assistant is the first point of contact between the practice and the patient. As an office assistant you will be responsible for creating a friendly, welcoming, calm, and efficient environment for the patients and the practice. The office assistant serves everyone with poise and compassion. We are a team of five Physicians, two Physician Assistants, one Registered Nurse, one Licensed Practical Nurse, Senior Medical Assistants, five Medical Assistants and two Office Assistants.
This is a full-time exempt Monday to Friday position.
All Medical Assistants are also required to work one Saturday every other week from 8am to 12pm. During your turn to provide Saturday coverage the office location will rotate between Greenville or the Darley Green office.
No holidays required.
High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant, is preferred but not required.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to build and foster professional relationships in a team environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred but not required.
