An opportunity exists for a Neurophysiology Technologist I at Penn State Health - Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing routine neurophysiology laboratory (END) procedures. S/he will collect data pertinent to the interpretation of test results. They also assist Senior Neurophysiology Technologists or medical staff with complex recordings. We currently have two full-time, day-shift positions available.
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
Must have either A) Graduate of a Neurophysiology Technician Program or, B) a minimum six-months of job related experience in the clinical neurophysiology lab
Successful completion of all neurophysiology competencies from ASET/ABRET
Current BLS certification or obtain within one month from date of hire
Competency in multiple electrode application techniques
Positive interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff
Enrollment in or graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) program or,
Associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Successful completion of Part I of ABRET exam
