BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB Under the supervision of the Manager of Supply Chain, the Buyer is responsible for the acquisitioning of various supplies and equipment for the East Tennessee Childrenas Hospital system. Based on established procedures and guidelines the buyer collaborates with clinical and non-clinical departments to procure the most appropriate and cost-effective products to meet department and organizational needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelors preferred Minimum Work Experience Previous work experience in Supply Chain environment with 3-5 years
