Your day.

As a Respiratory Therapist, you need to know how to:

• Determine the most suitable method of administering inhalants, precautions to be observed, and modifications which may be needed that will be compatible with Physician's orders..


• Perform bronchopulmonary drainage and assist patient in performing breathing exercises.


• Perform pulmonary function tests.


• Assist physicians in bronchoscopy procedures.


• Administer all IV medication appropriately, including the application of age specific competencies; implementation of technique and proper patient communication.


• Maintain patient's chart that contains pertinent identification and therapy information.


• Demonstrate competency to perform routine therapeutics and diagnostics on neonates, infants, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients such as: Patient assessment, oxygen administration, incentive spirometry, updraft aerosol, peak flows, IPPB, IPV, sputum inductions, suctioning, EKG, Holtor, and chest physiotherapy with knowledge and skill level commensurate of a RRT.

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school; or a combination of education, experience, AND registry through the NBRC (National Board of Respiratory Care), required. A bachelorâ™s degree is preferred.


• Current RRT, Montana license.


• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.


• Current ACLS and PALS certifications is preferred.
