Senior Social Worker - Substance Use Disorder
If you are a current, permanent VA employee or Federal employee from another agency, you should apply under CBST-11724025-23-ER. Assigned patient population has highly complex social, medical, and mental health problems. This position is assigned to work within an interdisciplinary team to provide these services ensuring Veterans timely access to mental health and psychosocial services. Many Veterans referred for treatment may also be resistant to engaging in treatment and high-risk. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. English Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English to be appointed as authorized by 38 U.S.C. ยง 7403(f). E
