This position is assigned to the Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Transportation Services (VTS), Ambulance Service, in the Fort Meade VA Medical Center, performing both Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) duties and ambulance/transport vehicles operations. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Certification/License Requirements: To be eligible for employment as a VA Medical Care Transportation Technician, each potential employee must be listed on the National Register for EMTs. Applicants also must possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) provider certification and a valid State driver's license. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be referred for further
