DescriptionSUBFUNCTION DEFINITION: Coordination of patients and visitors within a unit to ensure operations run efficiently. Positions in this subfunction may monitor or maintain patient or visitor information or bring patients to and from the unit.SCOPE: To provide assistance with patient related activities within a clinical discipline.REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIESPatient and Room Preparation Support clinician in room preparation, patient preparation for appointments, and patient care activities within scope of practice. May clean and maintain equipment, order inventory, and restock supplies. May perform procedures, collect data, analyze data, and inform clinical decisions regarding patient care, including initial scree
