This is an oncology social work position serving the psychosocial and concrete needs of patients being treated or followed at the Moseley Foundation Institute for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Nemours Children's Hospital with a focus on adolescent and young adult patients.This position is responsible for providing comprehensive social work services to patients and their families in accordance with the job responsibilities described in this document. Core functions include psychosocial assessment and support of patient/family coping skills; protective and advocacy services; and linkage to community resources. These services are provided in accordance with the policies, procedures, and guidelines established by Nemours Children's Hospital and its Social Work Department.
