OverviewThe Behavioral Health Counselor will be responsible for the service provision of evidence-based, family-centered treatment within the multidisciplinary pediatric weight management team at WakeMed Children's. Conducts psychosocial evaluations on patients using criteria established by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of the American Psychiatric Association and develop comprehensive treatment plans with children and adolescents with obesity using appropriate skills and assessments.
