Humana Professor of Community Health & Equity, Jefferson College of Population Health, Thomas Jeffer
The Jefferson College of Population Health is recruiting a senior scholar to join the faculty as the inaugural Humana Professor of Community Health & Equity. The endowed professor will conduct applied research, teach courses, and partner with the Jefferson and Philadelphia communities on strategies to improve community health, with a focus on reducing health inequities among vulnerable and minority communities. All research specializations will be considered, including food or housing insecurity, social isolation, transportation barriers, and other social drivers of poor health and inequities. Candidates from underrepresented minority communities are especially encouraged to apply. The full-time position is based in Philadelphia, PA and is eligible for tenure. Major Job Dutie
