DescriptionThe Division of Hospital Medicine at Cincinnati Children's has a successful history of quality improvement, translating evidence into practice, family-centered care, and leadership in education and research, including a robust hospital medicine fellowship program. The division, led by Dr. Samir S. Shah, consists of >55 faculty and staff physicians. We provide care through the Hospital Medicine Services at 2 campuses, the Burnet (Main) Campus and the Liberty Campus. Clinical service lines include general hospital medicine and complex care as well as consultation and co-management for surgical inpatients. We provide individualized career development through mentoring and participation in and leadership of quality improvement, education, and research efforts.
