| Description Ophthalmic Services Manager Requisition 2102592 Your Role: Responsible for the daily operations of the ophthalmic department. Daily operations to include creation, implementation, and oversight of all clinical and non-clinical areas including staffing, patient/clinic flow, policies and procedures, equipment, training/education, marketing, extensive budgeting and reporting (gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and using data to enhance business solutions). Resolves difficult and complex patient, staff, and faculty issues. This position is responsible for approximately twenty-seven direct reports. Our subspecialty ophthalmologists have completed a minimum of one year of fellowship training after residency and are board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. Vanderbilt Eye Institute's award-winning research staff collaborates with our doctors as well as other Vanderbilt departments to pursue discoveries that enhance the vision of patients everywhere. Position Shift: The clinic is open Monday - Friday 8:00AM- 5:00PM. Days.
